Created for Renegade Nell. A Louis XV style sofa for Widdicombe Hall.
Carved, painted, and silver gilded lindenwood. The frame is decorated with open wood aprons with ornate scroll and shell details. The back is painted with polychrome flowers in a jardinière pattern. Central is the Widdicombe crest, Party per pale argent and gules, a willow branch vert, and on the sinster two escallop or; the coronet of a baron
