Created for Little Birds. Linocut poster depicting the exiled ruler of Morocco, Sidi Mohammed Ben Youssef Ben Hassan (b. 1909) who as 'Sultan' from 1927-1953, until his exile by the colonial French protectorate.
Inspired the pro-Arabist 'Youssefist' movement. Sultan Mohammed V was an an important national symbol in the movement who demonstrated in favour of his return.
